Sorry, this has nothing to do with the original blog post (well, OK, read "Moon Called" it's a fast read and ypou might like it, I know my wife does), but I just have to jot this down now:
You can call me slow or whatever, but it took me this long to figure out what that "IQ - better than sex" -banner on this blogs side bar stands for. You see, I followed a link too YouTube and after watching the video I was linked in to I happened to notice a "recommendation" for this snippet from the TV-show IQ. I found it absolutely hilarious and looked for the official home page of the sjow and over there I saw this this picture and that's when it clicked: "I've seen that logo before... on the Eating muffins blog... So that's what they have been andvertising!".
If the rest of the show is as good as this snippet I'd really like to see this on Finnish television.

Let's say that the show in question is quite interesting indeed... Funny thing (when I say funny, I mean somewhat interesting): I'm dead certain that when Thomas Cronholm called Adam Roberts' book on SF History "quite interesting", AR laughed at the idea of been called that re: the show. I almost fell from my chair.
It is indeed a very funny show and something I'd very much hope to turn into some kind of a quiz show for Finncon/Åcon etc.
But what do they say of the Acropolis, where the Parthenon is?
