So, I managed to make a booboo. Yes, I did order all three parts of The Two of Swords at the same time, but part 3 was not published by then. And still isn't.
I knew this and now remember that I was supposed to not start reading before the last part had arrived, but alas. The Fool, am I. Now I need to ration the part 2. Argh. So many feelings about the part 1. Very. Interesting. Relevant to me, at least.
So, before I'll dive into the part 2, I better find something else to read. Apparently we have a fair number of books in this household. And as Sari often says: "...but nothing to read". For some reason, I have been wanting to read this one novel I know we own, but now I cannot find it anywhere. And it is bothering me, why am I so inclined to read this particular book. I know othing of it, except that it has a fairly classic "buddy"-theme of two lovable thieves having an adventure in a fairly normal secondary fantast world.
Having just read couple of these, and leaving the third novel of Paul S. Kemp's an Egil and Nix series on the wayside (didn't care for where the novel was going), I was ready fr more of the Fafhrd and Grey Mouser pastiches. Then again, I could return to the original ones, since they should all be somewhere there, behind the first row of books of a particular shelf. Pretty near all those books I call Howardiana, consisting mainly Robert E., but also most of the other sword and sorcery books I've purchased over the years (you know, Offutt, Smith, Fox, Jakes, Hocking, Green, Roberts et al), though not nearly all s&s I have, but let's keep quiet about that. No need to upset the missus.
Hence, no book currently in the middle of (though obviously there's a fair number of those that are waiting for me to continue reading, but are wrong for this moment in time). Where the heck is that Willrich?
